Characteristic Parameters |
Media Type The magnetic media which can be destroyed by this device are including hard disk (400G), floppies, tapes, magnetic cards. Not working on non-magnetic media. |
Degaussing Time 35s～50s，voltage gain compensation circuit is needed when the charge is not enough, which can last around 50 seconds. |
| Charge Voltage 700V～750V，usual charging voltage is around 720V. Since 700V is the lowest voltage for complete degaussing, it will get “low voltage” warning message when the voltage is too low, even starting with the voltage gain compensation circuit. |
Magnetic Power 800mT（1Mt=10Gs），800mT is the average of the available magnetic filed. To gain a better even magnetic field, the length of the solenoid is much longer than the media’s. This makes the magnetic power of the degaussing area become uniformly. The center point even gets 950mT. |
Warning Voltage Lower than 700V will get a warning, reminding users of the shortage of voltage which might result an incomplete degaussing.
Warning Magnetic Lower than 800mT（Avg.）will get a warning, reminding users of the weakness of magnetic power which might result an incomplete degaussing. |
